The story
We do not just build for brands. We run them.
We are a London-headquartered Shopify Plus agency working with brands across the UK and the US, with a difference: we do not just build for clients, we run our own brands. Powerlete and Fittr Nutrition are built and scaled from the ground up using the same processes, tools and thinking we bring to every client project. So when we talk about conversion rate optimisation, paid ads, or custom development, we are speaking from experience, not theory.
Our services cover the full spectrum a growing brand needs: custom Shopify development, bespoke app builds, ongoing growth partnerships, CRO, paid ads and strategic consultancy. Everything handled in-house, under one roof, in one clear direction. No hand-offs, no layers, no account managers between you and the people doing the work.
We have helped 100+ brands build and grow on Shopify since 2018. Whether you are launching your first brand or scaling an established one, you work with the team from day one. We treat every project like our own, because we run stores of our own and know what that takes.
That includes AI: how it actually shows up in the work, not a slide in a proposal.
How a project runs
Five stages, and you see every one of them
No hand-off between a design agency and a build agency. The people who scope the work are the people who ship it.
-
Diagnose
Before anything is designed we go through the store, the analytics, the search data and the ad account. Most briefs arrive naming a symptom. The first job is agreeing what the actual constraint is, and saying so even when it is not the thing you asked us to quote for.
-
Plan
Scope, sequence and a number. You get the reasoning as well as the price: what we are doing first, what we are deliberately leaving until later, and what we would cut if the budget moved. Nothing starts until that document is agreed.
-
Build
Design and development run together rather than in sequence, on a staging store you can open whenever you like. You review real pages on real devices, not flat screens, and changes land in days rather than at a milestone.
-
Launch
Redirects mapped, speed measured, analytics verified against live traffic rather than assumed. On a migration this is where rankings are protected or lost, so it is checked line by line and the numbers are recorded before and after.
-
Grow
A store is not finished at launch, it is at its worst. From here it is SEO, GEO, ads, email and testing, reported against revenue. Most clients move onto a retained arrangement here, and some do not, which is fine.
What we can do
The whole job, not one slice of it
Three groups: build it, grow it, run it. Most brands arrive needing one and stay for the other two.
01Build & migrate
Shopify web design
Storefronts built to convert.
Shopify Plus development
Checkout, Functions, Markets and B2B.
Shopify migration
Move to Shopify, rankings intact.
Integrations
ERP, WMS and CRM, connected.
B2B and wholesale
Company accounts, price lists, terms.
Internationalisation
Markets, hreflang, duties, local pricing.
02Grow & convert
Ecommerce SEO
Organic revenue that compounds.
GEO, generative engine optimisation
Being the brand AI recommends.
Paid ads and performance
Ads that pay for themselves.
Lead generation
Qualified leads, not vanity metrics.
Conversion rate optimisation
Find the leaks, fix them.
Email and retention
Flows that earn the inbox.
03Run & advise
Ongoing growth partnership
A retained team, one direction.
Maintenance and support
A named developer, not a queue.
Speed optimisation
Fix what is actually slow.
Consultancy
Senior expertise, one-off or retained.
Brands of every size
The work changes shape. The team does not.
Launching
First store, first products, no traffic yet. The job is a storefront that converts and a way to get found without burning budget. We keep the build tight and spend the difference on demand.
Scaling
Revenue is real and something is now the constraint: a theme that fights every change, a leaking checkout, ad costs climbing while organic sits flat. This is most of our work.
Established, and on Plus
Multiple markets, B2B alongside retail, an ERP that has to stay in step, and a checkout you can finally change. Here being a Plus Partner stops being a badge and starts being access.

How we work
Three things that do not move
01
One team, one direction
Design, development, migration, marketing and CRO under one roof. No hand-offs, no layers, no account managers sitting between you and the people doing the work.
02
We run our own stores
Powerlete and Fittr Nutrition are ours. We build them, run the marketing, and carry the risk, so every tactic we sell has been run on our own money first.
03
We only claim what we can prove
Every claim on this site is one we can evidence, and the speed run for this site sits on our receipts page for anyone to re-check. If we cannot prove it, we do not say it.
How we work with you
Three ways in
Project
A defined build with a scope, a price and an end: a new storefront, a migration, a B2B setup. Priced and agreed before we start.
Fixed feeRetained growth
Development, organic, paid and email under one monthly arrangement, with the mix set by what is limiting revenue that quarter. One team, one invoice.
MonthlyAdvisory
Senior input for teams who already have people and need the call rather than the hands: platform decisions, an audit before a rebuild, a second opinion on a quote.
No retainerHow we are set up
One team, against the usual shape
| What changes | The usual shape | Elms |
|---|---|---|
| Who you speak to | An account manager relaying to a team you never meet | The people building it |
| Build and marketing | Two agencies, each blaming the other for the numbers | One team, one plan |
| Where the tactics come from | Run on your budget first | Run on our own stores first |
| Development | Subcontracted, often offshore, rarely disclosed | In-house |
| What you are sold | The largest package the conversation will carry | The constraint, even when it is smaller than the brief |
Our own stores
We carry the risk before you do.
Powerlete and Fittr Nutrition are ours. Real stores, on real ad spend, with real customers. Every tactic we sell has been run on our own money first, so what we recommend is what held up when the spend was ours.

One session with [the team] materially moved us forward as a brand. [They’ve] had a massive impact on our growth in the time we’ve worked together.
Matthew HendersonARTMARTIAL · by email
From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with. They understood the brief perfectly and delivered to a very high standard. Communication was excellent throughout, with quick and clear responses to any questions I had.

Questions
What people ask before they get in touch
How big is the team, and who will I actually work with?
Small enough that you work with the people building your store, and founder-led rather than run through account management. There is no layer between you and the work. The trade-off is honest: we take on fewer projects at a time than a large agency, so start dates matter.
Do you only work with Shopify?
Shopify is the majority of what we do and where the deepest expertise sits. We also build ordinary websites for businesses outside ecommerce, and run their SEO, ads and lead generation. That work lives on the sectors pages rather than here, because a trade or professional services buyer has a different problem from a DTC brand.
What does GEO mean, and is it different from SEO?
GEO is generative engine optimisation: being the brand that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI answers actually recommend. It overlaps with SEO and is not the same job. Search rewards the page that ranks; generative answers reward the brand that is described clearly and cited elsewhere. We treat them as two related programmes.
Are you too small for a brand our size?
We are a Shopify Plus Partner working on multi-market, B2B and ERP-connected builds, so the ceiling is higher than the team size suggests. The real question is throughput rather than capability: if you need five workstreams running at once from next Monday, say so early and we will tell you honestly whether we can staff it.
Will a migration cost us our rankings?
It can, and that is the whole reason migrations are quoted as their own discipline rather than folded into a build. URL mapping, redirects, structured data and internal links are planned before design starts, and measured after launch rather than assumed.
Can you take over a store somebody else built?
Regularly, and it is worth an audit first. Sometimes the right answer is a rebuild and sometimes it is three weeks of work on the theme you already have. We would rather tell you it is the second one, because the alternative is selling you something you did not need and being found out in a year.
Straight answer
Are we right for you?
Worth a conversation
- You are on Shopify, or you have decided to be, and you want one team for the build and the growth.
- Something specific is limiting revenue and you would rather have it diagnosed than guessed at.
- You want the people doing the work in the room, and you will give them a real decision-maker in return.
- You are migrating from another platform and cannot afford to lose rankings doing it.
- You want ads, SEO, GEO and email pointing the same way rather than competing for credit.
A harder fit
- You need the absolute cheapest build available. We price for senior time and a proper diagnosis, and the cheapest build is usually the most expensive one a year later.
- You want a team that takes the brief and never questions it. We will tell you when the brief is the problem.
- You are looking for guaranteed rankings or guaranteed returns. Nobody can honestly sell you those.
- The decision-maker cannot be in the project. Work stalls in approval queues, and you still pay for the time.
