Web design & search · Electricians

Electrician marketing that brings in the planned work, not just the emergencies.

An emergency call is won before the site finishes loading. Everything else, the rewires, the EV chargers, the landlord certificates, is won by being findable and easy to trust.

01 Why electrical contractors work with us

The emergency job and the planned job are not the same buyer

Somebody with no power is dialling the first number that loads. Somebody costing a rewire or an EV charger reads three sites and checks your registration first. One page written for both serves neither, and the web development follows the split too: the emergency path stays one tap, the planned path carries the detail.

One team for the site, the ads and the search

An electrical contractor does not want three suppliers to referee. We build the site, run the Google and Meta ads, and do the search work behind it, so the click the ads paid for lands on a page built to convert, wired into the CRM you already run so a lead is tracked rather than retyped. Built to hold as you scale it, across the UK and the US.

See that work

Registration is the conversion, and most sites bury it

A scheme number in the UK, a state licence in the US: it is the one thing the customer is actually checking, and on most sites it is a grey logo in the footer. Put the scheme and the number where the decision happens and the same traffic converts better without ranking any higher.

02 How three different jobs arrive on one electrician site

An emergency, a rewire and a landlord certificate have nothing in common except the trade that does them. Nothing here is a lead you buy from us. It is a machine you own: a page that answers a fault in seconds, proof that carries a rewire, and search that catches the certificate work before the deadline rather than after it.

  1. The fault call is decided before the page finishes loading

Somebody with no power is choosing on speed and proximity, and the choosing is over inside a minute. The number first, the area stated, and the page light enough to arrive on a weak signal in a dark hallway. Nothing else on the site matters to that visitor.

  2. Compliance work runs on a calendar, not on demand

EICRs, landlord certificates and periodic inspections come due on dates, which makes them the most predictable revenue an electrician has. A site that states what the certificate is, what it costs and how quickly you can do it catches the search a deadline produces.

  3. EV charging is a new search and it is still winnable

Charger installation is searched by people who have just ordered a car and do not yet know what they need. Explaining the grant position, the survey and what a cable run actually involves wins the enquiry, because most of those results are still national installers with no local answer.

  4. The rewire is won on trust, so the credentials sit where they can be found

A full rewire means weeks inside a home with floors up. Registration body, insurance, finished work, and how a room is left at the end of each day. Vague reassurance loses this job to whoever was specific.

  5. Qualification sorts a callout from a project before you ring back

What the fault is, the property type, whether they own or rent, and whether a deadline is attached, asked on the form, tells you which of the three jobs this is. That decides who calls back and how fast, which is most of the margin.

  6. Contractor work and domestic callouts want different search entirely

An electrical contractor bidding commercial fit-out is found through specifiers, accreditations and named past projects. A homeowner with a dead socket searches a trade and a town. Electrical contractor SEO is a credibility exercise built on registration and real jobs, and it shares almost nothing with the local pages that catch the callouts.

Electrician marketing questions, answered

What experience do you have with electrical contractors?

The work an electrical contractor needs is the work we do: a site whose job is the enquiry rather than a checkout, ads that have to pay for themselves, and search that keeps the right work coming in. What we do is the whole engine: Google Ads and Meta for the enquiries you need this month, SEO for the ones that keep arriving without a media budget behind them, and a funnel between the two that brings the cost per lead down and qualifies what reaches your team. It connects to the CRM you already run, so a lead is tracked rather than retyped, and it is built as a foundation you can scale on rather than something that breaks at three times the volume. Founder-led, 100+ builds across the UK and the US. Tell us how your installs and call-outs arrive today and we will show you where the site, the ads and the search move first.

How much does electrician marketing cost?

It depends which half is actually broken. If the site is losing the visits you already get, that is the cheapest thing to fix and it goes first; if the site converts and nothing is finding it, the money goes into search instead. We scope it after looking at what you have, and we will say so if the honest answer is that you do not need us yet.

How do electricians get more leads?

Split the work first, because the routes are different. Emergency work is won on speed, proximity and being reachable in one tap. Planned work, rewires, consumer units, EV chargers and commercial contracts, is won on being findable weeks earlier and looking like the safe choice when three quotes get compared.

Do you build the website as well as run the marketing?

Yes, and we would rather do both than inherit a site we cannot change. Most of what limits an electrical contractor online is structural: one page trying to sell six different jobs, no way to tell which search produced a call, registration buried in the footer. None of that is fixable with a bigger ad budget.

Is a website worth it if most of my work comes from word of mouth?

Usually more so, not less. A referral still looks you up before calling, so the site is where a recommendation gets confirmed or quietly dropped, and that visit is the cheapest traffic you will ever get. If it converts badly you are losing work you had already won.

How do I get more EV charger installation enquiries?

Give it its own page rather than a line on a services list. EV charging is searched as its own job, by people comparing installers rather than looking for an electrician generally, and they arrive with specific questions about grants, load capacity and which units you fit. A page that answers those ranks and converts; a bullet point does neither.

Do you run Google Ads for electricians as well as the organic side?

Yes, that is one of the services we sell. On emergency terms it is often the only realistic route in the short term, because ads and the map pack take most of the clicks above the first organic result. On planned work the organic side compounds and the ads become the thing you throttle rather than the thing you depend on.

Can customers book a survey or an EICR online?

Yes, and certificates are the obvious place to start. An EICR is a known price on a known slot, so it needs no phone call at all, and every one booked online is a property you now have on record for the remedial work that follows. That last part is where the money usually is.

Where do NICEIC or NAPIT registration and our insurance go?

On every page, with the registration number rather than just the logo. Both registers are public and landlords and letting agents in particular do check, so making it easy is worth more than another paragraph about quality. Public liability cover stated as a figure does the same job for commercial enquiries.

Is this closer to electrician advertising or electrician marketing?

Both, under one plan rather than two separate purchases. What most people search for is electrician marketing generally, without knowing whether the honest answer is organic search, Google Ads, or some electrician advertising on top of the site itself. We would rather scope the actual mix than sell a fixed package before looking at what you already have.

Is electrician web design part of this, or do I need the separate guide for that?

Electrician web design is part of the same conversation, priced together rather than as an add-on. Electrical contractor marketing and marketing for electricians mean the same thing in most people's mouths, and electrician lead generation is the actual outcome either phrase is really asking about.

Can you remarket to people who requested a quote for planned work but never booked?

Yes, and on a rewire or an EV charger installation it usually matters more than the first ad did. Most planned electrical work gets two or three quotes compared, so we set up remarketing to the people who already enquired rather than only chasing new ones.
