Web design & search · Pest control

Web, ads and search for pest control firms.

A pest control firm sells a call-out and a contract, not a checkout. The site, the ads and the search exist to turn a search into that enquiry, and to prove which one paid.

01 Why pest control firms work with us

One team for the site, the ads and the search

A pest control firm does not want three suppliers to manage. We build the site, run the Google and Meta ads, and do the seo for pest control behind it, so the click the ads paid for lands on a page built to convert. Founder-led, 100+ builds across the US and the UK.

The booked call-out is the metric, not the visit

Nothing sells online here, so a session count is noise. We instrument the enquiry and the call and attribute each back to the search or ad that produced it, so you can see which spend booked which job.

Urgent work is won at the top of the results, fast

A pest problem is an emergency search on a phone, and a slow page loses the call before it loads. We build for speed and for the ads to land on a page that converts a panicked visitor into a booking.

02 How an urgent call and a contract arrive differently

Pest control is bought in a hurry and quietly, and the money is in the contract that follows. Nothing here is a lead you buy from us. It is a machine you own: a site that answers a domestic panic in one tap, a commercial route that talks about compliance rather than mice, and enough asked to send the right technician with the right kit.

  1. The domestic call is urgent and slightly embarrassed

Somebody who has just seen a rat in a kitchen wants it dealt with today and wants it discreet. Response time, unmarked vehicles if you run them, and a number that dials rather than displays. Nothing about that decision is comparative, which is why arriving quickly beats everything else on the page.

  2. Commercial buyers are not buying pest control, they are buying an audit pass

A restaurant, a warehouse or a care home is protecting a rating and a certificate. Documentation, reporting, response times and who signs it off. That is a different page and a different sentence, and it is where the contract revenue lives.

  3. The contract is the business, so the site has to sell it

A one-off treatment is a job. A monitoring contract is a year. Most pest sites leave the contract as an afterthought at the bottom of a services page, which hands the highest-value thing you sell to whoever happens to think of asking.

  4. Search takes the pest, the place and the panic together

People search a specific creature plus a town, and often plus the word urgent. Those are local terms with unmistakable intent, they are winnable, and unlike a paid campaign they keep producing at three in the morning when the call actually gets made.

  5. Qualification sends the right technician with the right kit

The pest, the property type, whether it is a home or a business, how long it has been going on and whether there are pets or children, asked on the form, means the van that turns up can finish the job rather than book a second visit.

  6. Pest controller is what the customer types, and pest control is what the site says

A householder searches for a pest controller, a pest and a place, roughly in that order. Pest controller marketing is largely about making the person findable rather than only the company, because at two in the morning with something in the loft the search is for somebody who will come out, not for a brand.

Pest control marketing questions, answered

What experience do you have with pest control firms?

The work a pest control firm needs is the work we do: a site whose job is the enquiry rather than a checkout, ads that have to pay for themselves, and search that keeps the right work coming in. What we do is the whole engine: Google Ads and Meta for the enquiries you need this month, SEO for the ones that keep arriving without a media budget behind them, and a funnel between the two that brings the cost per lead down and qualifies what reaches your team. It connects to the CRM you already run, so a lead is tracked rather than retyped, and it is built as a foundation you can scale on rather than something that breaks at three times the volume. Founder-led, 100+ builds across the UK and the US. Tell us how your call-outs and contracts arrive today and we will show you where the site, the ads and the search move first.

Do you do ads as well as the website and SEO?

Yes, and for a pest control firm the three are one job. Pest control marketing that separates the site, the ads and the search into three suppliers is how a slow month becomes an argument. We run the marketing, the paid media and the site together.

Do you do lead generation, or do you sell leads?

We build the lead generation, we do not resell leads. A marketplace enquiry for a wasp nest reaches several firms and is won on who calls back first; an enquiry from your own site is yours to answer properly. For commercial contracts the difference matters even more, because those are not won in a race.

Our work is seasonal. Does that break the advertising?

No, but it changes how it is run. Wasps arrive on a schedule and rodents move indoors on a different one, so the sensible version follows the season rather than spending evenly across the year. That means the budget moves month to month, which is a thing to agree up front rather than discover.

We want commercial contracts, not one-off wasp nests. Can the site do that?

Yes, and it needs to be built for it deliberately, because the two buyers want opposite things. A householder wants someone today; a pub group or a food manufacturer wants your BPCA membership, your reporting, your audit trail and your insurance. Those are different pages, and the search and ads behind them are separate too.

Where does BPCA or NPTA membership go?

Prominently, and on the commercial pages especially. For a domestic customer it is reassurance; for a commercial one it is often a procurement requirement, and being unable to find it is enough to lose the enquiry before anyone calls you.

Can you get us into the map pack for pest control plus our town?

That is the realistic first target and it is often reachable in weeks rather than months, because the map pack rewards a complete profile, real reviews and correct service areas more than it rewards a big website. The organic results underneath it take longer.

Customers are embarrassed to call us. Does that change the website?

It changes a lot of it. Discretion is a real selling point in this trade and almost nobody says it out loud, so unmarked vehicles, confidentiality and a form that does not demand a phone call are all worth stating plainly. It also means the online booking route matters more here than in most trades.

Can people book online instead of ringing?

Yes, and for the reason above it is worth building properly rather than bolting on. A slot picker tied to your actual availability turns an anxious enquiry into a job without a conversation, and it captures the ones that arrive at eleven at night, which is more of them than you would expect.

Do you only build Shopify sites?

No. Shopify is where most of our work sits because most of our clients sell products online, and a pest control firm usually does not. We build on whatever fits the job; this site runs on Astro and Cloudflare.

Do you work with firms in the US as well as the UK?

Yes, and pest control is a case where the US search market is much larger than the UK. We are London-based and plan for both markets rather than assuming one.
