Email Marketing
Flows that earn the inbox.
(opens in a new tab) An ecommerce email marketing agency with 100+ Shopify builds behind it. We build the lifecycle flows first, put deliverability on a proper footing, then run campaigns with a reason to exist, all measured on the revenue the channel adds.
Stores whose email we run
Certified, not badge-only Most stores do not need a bigger list. They need the one they have worked properly.
Read the case studiesThat is the honest reason to hire an ecommerce email marketing agency rather than add a sender to the marketing team: the flows are a build job with revenue attached, and once they are live the weekly campaign work is small. We would rather spend the first month on the six flows that run forever than on a calendar that stops the day somebody goes on holiday.
Our servicesFour stages, one team
How we build flows and campaigns measured on revenue
Deliverability before any flow, and every flow before campaign volume goes up.
-
Audit and authenticate
Current flows, list health and sending reputation, plus the DNS authentication records that decide whether any of it arrives.
-
Build the flows
The core lifecycle flows, written and built, with the logic that stops them overlapping.
-
Campaign rhythm
A calendar you can sustain, with the segments that make each send relevant.
-
Review
Monthly against incremental revenue, with the next set of tests agreed.
Build
The account underneath: authentication, the store data feeding it, and the flows that run whether anyone sends a campaign that week or not.
Knack Snacks
Build, email, paid ads and support
Email marketing agency for ecommerce
Email for a product people buy again
Knack Snacks sells high-protein chocolate snacks direct to customers in the UK and the US. It is a product people buy again and again, which makes timing the job: a reorder reminder a week early is noise, and a week late is a lost order.
We built the store subscription-first on Horizon, then took on their email, paid ads and day-to-day support, so the flows and the traffic arriving at the store are one conversation rather than two agencies.
What you get
What our ecommerce email marketing service covers
Four pieces, built in this order, because each one depends on the one before it.
The flows
Welcome and browse abandonment
The first days after a signup, and the visit that never reached the cart.
Cart and checkout recovery
Two different moments, built as two flows so neither talks over the other.
Post-purchase and winback
Timed on your own reorder cycle, not on an average from another category.
Campaigns and segments
Campaigns with a reason
Launches, restocks, seasons and genuine offers. Never a send because it is Thursday.
Behavioural segments
Where someone is with the brand, so the winback never reaches yesterday's buyer.
Deliverability and measurement
Authentication in place
SPF, DKIM and DMARC right at the DNS level, with list hygiene on a schedule.
Measured on revenue
Incremental revenue, reviewed monthly. Not opens, which Apple's image pre-fetching broke.
Grow
Once the flows earn on their own, the work turns to sends people actually want and the segments that decide who gets them.
Poppy Elder
Build, paid, email and support
UK email marketing agency
Email that carries a decision taking months
Poppy Elder makes bespoke engagement rings set with unusual stones. Nobody buys one on impulse: they spend months deciding, talk to a person and change their mind twice.
We built the store for that customer, then took on the email, paid ads and support on a retainer. The email is written to carry the length of the decision rather than push against it.
Email marketing services agency
Every recommendation, tested on our own list first
Powerlete is our own sportswear brand, and we run its Klaviyo account ourselves. That is where a flow structure, a segment or a deliverability change gets proved before it reaches a client account.
It also means the stakes are our own. When a send lands in spam it is our revenue that drops, which is a strong reason to treat deliverability as infrastructure rather than as a fix.
Campaign-led vs flow-led
Why ecommerce email stops earning its place in the inbox
Most accounts we inherit have a welcome flow, an abandoned cart and then a calendar, so the campaigns end up carrying revenue the flows should be earning on their own.
| Question | Campaign-led account | Flow-led account |
|---|---|---|
| What earns the revenue | Whatever went out this week | Lifecycle flows running every day |
| A quiet month | Revenue falls with the send count | The flows keep selling |
| Who gets each send | Everyone who signed up | A behavioural segment |
| Deliverability | Checked after open rates fall | Authentication and list hygiene from day one |
| How it is judged | Open rate | Incremental revenue |
| When the marketer is away | The calendar stops | The flows do not |
Run
Reviewed monthly against incremental revenue, with the next tests agreed and the list kept clean.
Email marketing company
Timed on the reorder, not the average
Fittr Nutrition is our supplements brand, best known for its creatine gummies. We built the store, we run the growth and we run its email, so we carry the risk on every send.
Supplements are the clearest case of a flow that depends on what happens after the order. The replenishment window is the whole game here, and the same timing would annoy somebody who bought a mattress.

From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with. They understood the brief perfectly and delivered to a very high standard. Communication was excellent throughout, with quick and clear responses to any questions I had.

How we work with you
Flow build
Authentication, list health and the core lifecycle flows, written and built with the logic that stops them overlapping. A project with an end, because flows are a build job with revenue attached.
Fixed scopeMonthly programme
Campaigns, segments and a monthly review against incremental revenue, on top of flows that are already earning. What Knack Snacks and Poppy Elder run with us.
RetainerAccount audit
A fortnight looking at the account you already have, with a written view of what to fix first. Cheaper than a programme, and sometimes the right answer.
Short engagementIs this the right thing to buy from us?
Worth a conversation
- Campaigns carry the revenue and the flows stop at a welcome and a cart
- Open rates dropped and nobody can say why
- Email is somebody's side job and stops when they are busy
- You want the store's data feeding the email properly
Probably not this, yet
- The store is not converting the traffic it already has
- You want a newsletter rather than a revenue channel
- You want to switch platform for its own sake
Ecommerce email marketing agency
Where this fits
People find this page searching for an email marketing agency uk-side, for an email marketing firm, or for a full service email marketing agency that will own the channel end to end. All three get the same thing here, because there is only one version of this we think is worth selling: authentication and deliverability first, then the lifecycle flows, then campaigns with a reason to exist. If what you want is an email marketing consultant for a fortnight to audit what you already have, ask for that instead and we will quote it, because it is cheaper and it is sometimes the right answer.
This is an email marketing agency for ecommerce specifically, and the difference is not a claim about skill. It is that the flows worth building depend on what happens after the order: a replenishment window is the whole game for supplements and meaningless for furniture, and a winback timed on an average consumables cycle will annoy a customer who bought a mattress. B2b email marketing is a third shape again, with longer gaps, named contacts and an account rather than a cart, and we run it as its own programme rather than as the same flows with different copy.
The naming varies more than the job does. An email marketing company and an email marketing services agency are the same supplier under two labels, and a search for email marketing advertising agencies in the plural usually means somebody is drawing up a shortlist rather than writing a brief. Geography gets bolted on the same way, so a uk email marketing agency, a uk email marketing company and email marketing companies uk with the country pushed to the end all arrive here meaning one thing. It resolves to the same question every time: will the flows be built properly, and who owns deliverability the morning a send lands in spam.

Partners
Tools we have already run on our own stores
The apps around a Shopify store decide as much as the theme does, and choosing between thousands of them is most of the work. We are a Shopify Plus Partner and we integrate the tools that sit around the platform. Every one of them runs on our own two stores before it reaches a client, so the recommendation you get comes from having paid for the thing and lived with it. When a brand already runs a stack that works, we integrate with it rather than rebuilding it to suit us.
How we use themStraight answers
We already send campaigns. What would you actually change?
Usually the order of the work rather than the sending. Most accounts we inherit have a welcome flow, an abandoned cart and then a calendar, which means the campaigns are carrying revenue that flows should be earning automatically. We build the six lifecycle flows out properly first, browse abandonment and post-purchase and winback included, because those keep running in a month nobody has time to write a campaign.
Our open rates dropped and nothing changed. Why?
Usually deliverability rather than content, and it is the first thing we check. SPF, DKIM and DMARC have to be right at the DNS level, the sending domain has to have a reputation of its own, and a list that has been mailed indiscriminately for a year will drag the good addresses down with the dead ones. Fixing that is unglamorous and it is generally worth more than any subject line test.
Do you work in Klaviyo only?
It is what we recommend for Shopify and what we run on our own two stores, so it is where the deepest work happens. We will work in what you already have if there is a reason to stay, and we will say so if there is not. Moving platform for its own sake costs a month and buys nothing.
How is this measured?
On incremental revenue, not on opens. Opens have been an unreliable number since Apple started pre-fetching images, and a flow can post a beautiful open rate while selling nothing. The question we answer monthly is what the channel earned that the store would not have earned anyway.
