What these terms cover, and what they do not

These terms cover the website only. If you engage us for client work, that work runs on a separate written agreement between us, and that agreement, not this page, governs it. Parity, our Shopify app, has its own terms presented where the app is installed, and its data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

Using the site

The site is provided for you to learn about our work and get in touch. Do not use it to do anything unlawful, attempt to probe or disrupt its security, harvest data from it at scale, or misrepresent your identity to us through it. The enquiry form exists for genuine enquiries.

What belongs to whom

The content of this site, its copy, design, code and imagery, belongs to us or to those who have licensed it to us. Client names, storefronts and screenshots appear with the client's permission, and their trade marks remain theirs. Shopify is a trade mark of Shopify Inc.; we are an independent agency, not Shopify. You may not reuse content from this site commercially without our written consent, beyond quoting it fairly with attribution.

What you can rely on

The site is general information about what we do, not advice for your specific situation, and browsing it does not create a client relationship. Where we publish performance numbers, they are dated, checkable snapshots of a store or page at the moment stated, published so you can verify them. They are a record of work done, not a promise that your results will match.

Third-party links

The site links to other sites, including client stores and tools we write about. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the site fast, accurate and available, and none of it is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

How we collect and use personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy, and how the site uses cookies by our Cookie Policy. Both apply alongside these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
