Build & Migrate
Shopify Integrations
ERP, WMS and CRM, connected.
(opens in a new tab) A Shopify integration agency with 100+ builds behind it. We connect the ERP, warehouse, PIM, CRM and couriers you already run, and agree the sync rules and the failure handling before anything is built, so a failed sync is found that day rather than in next month's stock count.
Stores wired into the systems behind them
Certified, not badge-only Most integration problems are not technical. Nobody agreed which system owns a price, or what happens when a sync fails at 2am.
Read the case studiesIntegrations fail quietly. An order that never reaches the warehouse, a stock level that drifts out of sync, a customer record duplicated across three systems: nothing breaks loudly, the numbers just stop matching. We agree the sync rules and the failure handling before anything ships, so when a connection genuinely goes down, somebody finds out that day rather than a month later in a stock count.
Shopify developmentFour stages, one team
How we connect Shopify to an ERP, WMS or CRM
We settle the definitions first, then build.
-
Map the data
Every field that moves between systems, its owner, and what happens when it conflicts.
-
Choose the path
App, native integration or custom middleware, decided on total cost of ownership rather than on what is quickest to demo.
-
Build and instrument
Built with logging and alerting from the start, so a failed sync surfaces before a customer finds it.
-
Hand over
Runbooks and monitoring your team owns, not a black box only we can open.
Orders and the back office
Where an order goes after the checkout, and which system gets to say what happened to it.
Shopify api integration
Orders routed to the warehouse serving each hotel
Citizen M supplies the operating stock that keeps citizenM hotels running, and since Marriott’s acquisition of citizenM, Marriott hotels too. Each hotel signs in to a catalogue scoped to what it may order, at pricing set for it.
Every order then fulfils from the local distribution serving that building, rather than shipping napkins across a border because the catalogue only knows one warehouse. The order backend behind that routing is the part nobody sees, and the half of the build that took the time.
What we connect
What our Shopify integrations service covers
Every connection starts from the same question: which system owns this field. The rest is engineering.
The back office
Systems of record
Which system owns stock, which owns price, which owns the customer. Written down and agreed, because every recurring sync bug traces back to two systems both believing they are right.
ERP and accounting
NetSuite, Sage, Xero, Brightpearl and the rest. Orders out, stock and pricing in, with refunds, partial fulfilments and multi-currency handled explicitly.
Stock and fulfilment
Warehouse and 3PL
WMS and 3PL connections where the order lifecycle is the hard part: splits, backorders, returns and the states your team actually sees.
Couriers and carriers
A named carrier’s API for rates, labels and tracking, rather than a generic app printing the wrong service level.
Build or buy
A native app first
One that does 90% is usually better than middleware that does 100% and needs owning. We will tell you when not to build.
Middleware where it earns it
Custom only where a native app genuinely will not do, and chosen on total cost of ownership rather than on the demo.
Stock, ERP and warehouse
One owner for every stock level and every price, agreed before the first sync runs.
WUKA
Build, ERP and warehouse move, support
Shopify integration agency
Off older ERP and warehouse systems, onto one store
WUKA makes leak-proof reusable period underwear, a product the store has to explain before it can sell. We built that store, ran conversion testing on it, set up its international selling, and still support it.
The move onto a new theme took the business off older ERP and warehouse systems as well, which makes it integration work as much as a build: every order, stock level and fulfilment state those systems used to hold needed an owner on the new platform.
Build or buy
Why Shopify integrations break in the second year, not the first
An integration is judged on launch day. It breaks later, when a refund, a split shipment or a new warehouse arrives that nobody wrote a rule for.
| Question | Wired up to go live | Designed to be owned |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns each field | Whichever system wrote to it last | One system of record per field, written down before build |
| Refunds, splits and currencies | Left to the connector’s defaults | Handled explicitly, edge case by edge case |
| Order states | Pushed one way | Mapped in both directions |
| A failed sync | Found in a stock count a month later | Logged, alerted and found the same day |
| When an app would do | Custom built anyway | Used, and we say so |
| After handover | A black box only the builder can open | Runbooks and monitoring your team owns |
Delivery and fulfilment
Order states mapped both ways, so a pick, a pack or a dispatch updates the store without anyone re-typing it.
Seko Logistics
White-label builds and support
Shopify delivery integration
Stores built for a fulfilment provider’s own clients
Seko Logistics is a global freight forwarder and ecommerce fulfilment provider. They subcontract us to build and support the Shopify stores they run for their own clients, so the work sits under their name rather than ours.
Those stores come across warehouse systems and all, which puts the order lifecycle at the centre of every one: the warehouse and the store have to agree on what has been picked, packed and sent, whoever’s brand is on the front.

From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with. They understood the brief perfectly and delivered to a very high standard. Communication was excellent throughout, with quick and clear responses to any questions I had.

How we work with you
An integration on its own
Your store stays as it is. We map the data, choose the path, build it with logging and alerting, and hand over runbooks your team can use without us.
Fixed scopeInside a build or a migration
When we build or move the store as well, the integrations are scoped with it, so the new store and the systems behind it go live agreeing. How WUKA’s move ran.
Part of the buildLooked after afterwards
Monitoring and fixes once it is live, for the connections that need an owner after launch. What Citizen M run with us, on a platform we build and support.

Worth a conversation
- Orders or stock are re-typed from one system into another
- The store and the warehouse disagree, and nobody knows which is right
- An ERP, a 3PL or a courier is about to change
- You are replatforming and the back office has to come too
Probably not this, yet
- An app from the App Store already does the job and nothing is re-keyed
- Nobody has decided which system should own stock and price
- You want live rates at checkout and nothing more
Shipping integration shopify
Couriers, carriers and 3PLs
Courier and shipping work is the most common brief here. An apc courier integration shopify project means syncing a named carrier’s API for rates, labels and tracking rather than leaving a generic app to handle it, and a shopify delivery integration with a 3PL warehouse works the same way in principle, mapping order states both directions so a pick, pack or dispatch event updates Shopify without anyone re-typing it. Get either wrong and orders print the wrong service level, which costs more in reprinted labels than the integration itself. A shipping integration shopify brief that only covers live rates at checkout, without touching fulfilment, is a smaller and cheaper job, worth saying upfront rather than scoping the bigger one by default.
Brands often type it shorter, as apc integration shopify, and mean the same job: getting one carrier's rates, labels and tracking into the store directly rather than routing them through a general-purpose app. A shopify api integration more broadly, whether for a carrier, a warehouse or an ERP, follows the same rule: agree how a failed call is retried before anything goes live.

Partners
Tools we have already run on our own stores
The apps around a Shopify store decide as much as the theme does, and choosing between thousands of them is most of the work. We are a Shopify Plus Partner and we integrate the tools that sit around the platform. Every one of them runs on our own two stores before it reaches a client, so the recommendation you get comes from having paid for the thing and lived with it. When a brand already runs a stack that works, we integrate with it rather than rebuilding it to suit us.
How we use themStraight answers
Should we use an app or a custom integration?
Usually the app. A native app that does 90% of the job is usually better than middleware that does 100% and needs owning. We decide on total cost of ownership rather than on what is quickest to demo, and we will tell you when not to build.
Which systems do you connect Shopify to?
ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage, Xero and Brightpearl, warehouse and 3PL systems, PIM and CRM, and couriers. Orders go out, stock and pricing come in, and refunds, partial fulfilments and multi-currency are handled explicitly rather than left to defaults.
What happens when a sync fails?
Somebody finds out that day. Every integration is built with logging and alerting from the start, and how a failed call is retried is agreed before anything goes live, so a stuck order surfaces before a customer or a stock count finds it.
Can you connect a courier such as APC directly?
Yes. A courier integration syncs that carrier’s API for rates, labels and tracking rather than leaving a generic app to handle it. If you only need live rates at checkout, that is a smaller and cheaper job, and we will say so rather than scope the bigger one.
Can our own team fix a stuck sync without you?
That is the aim. We hand over runbooks and monitoring your team owns, not a black box only we can open. If you would rather we kept watching it afterwards, that sits on a support plan.
